Today is the 2nd October 2008. I had an apointment to see my dentist for a checkup. i have never been scared of the dentist. i think that is due to having such a great dentist when I was a child. i got stickers and everything!!!
I had been having some probelms with my top wisdom teeth. They were partially erupted and making my Molars ache from time to time. The dentist had wanted me to have them removed at my last checkup but I was quite happy taking Ibruprofen rather than having them digging into my jaw to remove my teeth!
Anyway, this time round I wasnt so lucky. I have to have both my top wisdom teeth out. Boo Hoo. That when I asked him about trying to straighten my teeth out.
Invisalign???? I had dont a little bit of reading up on them and obviously came to the conclusion that i was the ideal candidate. There was no way on earth i was having Train tracks in my mouth. The dentist told me the pro's and cons and then all of a sudden maybe I wasnt such an ideal candidate for Invisalign. Yes, I would keep forgetting to put the tray in and no, i didnt want to have to wear them for over 2 years.
Metal Braces??? Not a chance in hell!!! I was no where near that brave!
Ceramic Braces??? Arghhh! Stelth Train tracks, but train tracks non the less!
I had alot to think about. I was to make an apointment to have my wisom teeth out, and also make an appointment to see the Orthodontist to discuss my Braces treatment. Whoopie Dooo.
